Butch Headding is the head mentor and facilitator of the Trading Triggers live trading room. Butch became interested in trading Futures 20+ years ago by trading in the Futures market with his father-in-law. Butch rekindled his interest in trading the Futures market in 2003 after he completed 18 years of successful sales management with SC Johnson.

As with many independent traders, Butch tried many different approaches to become self-sufficient in his trading endeavor. He purchased many software packages and trading books/classes. None of these brought the success level and consistency he was seeking to attain. He then attended a seminar at the Chicago Board of Trade and learned John Person's trading methodology of combining pivot points and candlesticks.

After implementing John's techniques and newsletter recommendations, Butch was able to establish a trading program that brought him the income he needed. He is now self sufficient in his trading and trades full time.

After learning how to trade “the hard way”, Butch and John developed a team approach to bring together John's experience in trading and Butch's experience in learning how to become a trader - from the beginning.

Trading Triggers utilizes the combination of their talents to bring state-of-the-art resources and training materials to assist the independent trader in achieving their dream of financial independence.

Butch's wife, Phyllis, also attended John's seminar and successfully trades the markets. They have two children who are learning to read charts and plan to be full time traders when they are “all grown up”.
