Phyllis Headding is the Forex Specialist and instructor for Trading Triggers University . Phyllis started her trading career after a successful sales career in the employee benefits and technology fields.

Phyllis holds a BBA in Finance from The University of Oklahoma. Phyllis' career was in the group insurance field where she designed and implemented self funded insurance programs for large employer groups and later marketed software and internet services related to the insurance business.

Phyllis' initial exposure to the Futures industry was through her father. He taught her the basics of technical analysis and chart reading. Of course, at that time there were no electronic data feeds, so charting was done by hand and market data was maintained in notebooks.

When Phyllis and Butch decided to pursue careers as independent traders, she resumed her study of technical analysis. She purchased many books and courses in search of the strategies that would enable she and Butch to achieve their dream of becoming independent traders.

One of the books she purchased was John Person's book, The Complete Guide to Technical Trading Tactics: How to Profit Using Pivot Points, Candlesticks and Other Indicators . After reading the book, she booked two seats at John's seminar at the Chicago Board of Trade. Both she and Butch were very impressed with the simplicity, accuracy and profitability of the techniques taught by John.

Since then, she has successfully implemented John's trading techniques in the Forex market and trades with Butch – in separate offices, on separate floors, with different specialties, of course.

Butch and Phyllis have two wonderful children who are learning the fine art of trading. They understand how to use pivot points and recognize basic candlestick formations. They love to find “doji's” and always ask their mom and dad if they “made money off of that doji”.
